The Devil May Cry series for the Genre of Sleshov is the same as for the fighter’s fighting wings. Capcom decided to restart the series, and the new part was given to the development of Ninja Theory, and the protagonist – Dante, appeared in a completely different guise. Which, naturally, has become the subject of fierce holivars. However, they listened weakly to the opinion of the fans, and the dark-haired gg in the Alcoholic T-shirt left only slightly changing it. And, with a creak in the heart, everyone began to wait for the release of the game itself, periodically shooting out of shit. And so, on January 15, the console version of the game was released, and 25-pc. Personally, I, not being familiar with the series, the new DMC (or, as it is now more correct, DMC) did not wait. However, in early 2013, there is nothing to play, t. To. The closest projects interesting to me are only March 5 (Tomb Raider 2013, Simcity 2013). Therefore, my collection was replenished with a new disc for 470 rubles. And now I would like to tell about the contents of this disk.

The plot of the Slesher game usually does not claim to be something more than just an explanation of the created chaos. Therefore, no one in this regard was expected from restarting. In vain. The history of Dante’s formation was extremely interesting. And the world of the game, full of allusions on the real, makes you believe in. What is the Virility plant or local channel Raptor News. The finale cannot be called the expected, although several times hints of it were. So I really want to see the continuation of the action. The only thing that is incomprehensible is sometimes stretched, then, on the contrary, a narrowed narrative, when the road to one boss occupies 1 location, and to the other – as many as 4. The characters take it not in quantity, but in quality. Each of the heroes, especially the main ones – Dante, Virgil, Kat and Mundus, has its own goal, his thoughts and points of view, his own truth, which cannot be recognized.

The combat system is brilliant in its simplicity. We have 3 types of attacks: ordinary, angelic and demonic. The first is represented by Dante’s permanent companions: the Money Model with the Two Pistols Eboni and Ivory (in the Russian version of the game they are called “Black” and “White”, but I like it more). They create attacks balanced both in damage and in the area. The second is an oblique “Osiris”, a whip and huge shurikens “Akvil”. They attack with less damage, but at the same time capture more enemies. The demonic weapon is an “arbitrator”, a harpoon (for another characteristic does not come to my mind) and Erix gloves-the opposite to them is strong, but one, sometimes two or three, and the harpoon opposite the whip itself attracts Dante himself. From this weapon, as practice shows, one demonic and one angelic (except the whip and harpoon – they are always needed), and pistols are rarely needed. For example, I ran with Osiris and Ericks, only in battles with bosses switching to the Arbitration.

As in other games of the series, in the new Devil May Cry there are grades. They are placed at the end of the passage, but at the same time during the battle for the fulfillment of the Combo, it is also put a score – from “D” to “SSS”. The latter did not give me during the battle. Parameters affecting the final, 3 – style points (on average S for the first passage and SSS for the second), time (average b and ss) and the percentage of complete passage (C and SS) and, that is, the found things – keys, doors and souls. Bonuses such as part of a healthy is given for the passage of the rooms – 4 parts add maximum health, and for the release of souls they will give red areas – local currency, which are needed for the purchase of legs, the spheres of resurrection and other junk. You need to acquire new skills that are divided by weapons: for each of its sets of perks. Closer at the end of the game, Rage Mode is issued, which will be needed exactly once – in the battle with the final boss; At another time, you can cope without it.

These levels, by the way, are very diverse and are not boring. We will have to visit both the abandoned estate of the Dante family, and at the local “Coca-Cola” factory and even under water. The culmination of the fantasy of the developers is a battle with a news boss in the screensaver of these very news, during which we are periodically thrown through the eyes of the enemy into “real” issues in which the protagonist exterminates demons disguised as innocent people.

The picture, in general, pleases the eye. Yes, the graphics created by the Third Unreal Engine does not have such opportunities as, for example, an image from Frosbite. But this is not necessary with the talented work of the creators, which, without a doubt, turned out to Ninja Theory. The color scheme very often changes the limits of the same level: for example, starting in yellow colors, we will have time to move to blue, red and even green. Animation is very well worked out. Separately, this applies to the facial expressions of the main characters. The faces of the characters differ from each other up to the movements of the eyebrows.

The Netherland Trio Noisia and the Norwegian group Combichrist were responsible for the sound accompaniment. It is impossible not to fall in love with the music created by them; Separately, I want to note the track to the Sent to Destroy, which sounds at the “Club” level. Moreover, the sounds themselves do not stand out in the game, they are very harmoniously woven into the general process.

Although I played in a PC version, I can’t say much about managing the keyboard-most of the game was held with the joystick. But from what I felt, we can say that the control in the first case and the good in the second.
