Decay of Logos – This is an indie game in the genre Action/Adventure With elements RPG From a third -person, created, as amplify builds, under the influence of European folklore and high fantasy John Tolkien. The gameplay is concentrated mainly on the research by the player of the world with minimal weapons, complex battles and the need to competently dispose of available resources. Even before the game, many managed to christen it with a mixture of The Legend of Zelda and Dark Souls. From the first, the game adopted the style, the similarity of the character with the main character of the series of games about Zeldu and the system of damage to weapons. From the second, the game adopted much more. Here and a relatively slow combat system with fairly complex bosses and minibosses, death fines, a system of checkpoints in the form of camps and altars, a limited number of consumables, but about everything in order.
The plot tells us the story of a girl named Hell and her faithful companion of mystical los. The latter is one of the features of the game. However, the meeting of the couple did not occur under the best circumstances. The village of the girl was destroyed by one of the king’s sons. Broken and blinded by a thirst for revenge, hell will go in search of the culprit, gradually revealing the secrets of the royal family, realizing that everything is far from unambiguous and simple. The plot is reflected by dialogues with peaceful NPCs, whom the character will meet in his path, KAT scenes and altars with memories describing the ENT of the world.

Fights in Decay of Logos data are not in a hurry. Opponents hit painfully, sometimes unexpectedly, and if the lion’s share of ordinary opponents does not cause problems, then some bosses and minibosses can take you an hour, or even more. The game world is also similar to the games of the Souls series. Instead of an open world, we get quite extensive, but still corridor locations that gradually change each other as we pass. The world itself is filled with various chests, encouraging curious players with good weapons or armor, puzzles and places with complex opponents.
Traveling around the world, the player will meet many friendly NPCs, who will be happy to share their history, stories about the world or ask for help. And after some time, hell will stumble upon a not large settlement, where he can chat with all the companions found, as well as fix his equipment from the local blacksmith.

Like any clone of Dark Souls, the game is trying in every possible way to pervert the system of punishment for death. The game contains quite unique in my opinion a pumping system, the essence of which is in the next. The player will automatically pump the basic characteristics of causing damage to enemy, opening chests or activating mechanisms. However, any damage received will impose fines on these very basic characteristics, thereby the game motivates to clean up locations and try not to get damage. Death does not seem so terrible, because it will allow the opponents to resume the locations, which will make it possible to get not a big increase in the characteristics.

In the game, in addition to prayer altars, which serve the points of checkpoints, there are camps where the player can replenish his health once, will remain and sleep, thereby relying all the fines. But, like any indie game, in Decay of Logos could not do without its minuses. Flying Western sites, I often came across bad games of the game due to a huge number of bugs, poor optimization and terrible frizes. Well, there really are bugs in the game, I will not hide and many of them need to be fixed with patches. However, I did not notice any critical. Most of them are minor, and some bugs help completely overcome strong minibosses. As for optimization and freezes. There are frizes, but this is a rather rare phenomenon, although sometimes frizes can occur directly during the battle, which is certainly not a good sign. The game itself on my system is going on without any complaints at maximum settings in Full HD resolution (we are talking about FPS).
But what is more critical is a delay in the response of management and working with the inventory.
Speaking of the first, I noticed such a feature that during the battle with the opponent the player manages once, after the commission of certain combinations, they will dodge the attack. Sometimes it turns out, sometimes, subject to the same condition, the character does not respond to the “evasion” button. Perhaps the whole thing is in compliance with timings and animation, and possibly all the same in the response. Sometimes, there are situations when when using one consumable flask, the character immediately uses the second, the reason for this moment, I could not finally find out.
As for working with the inventory, I will simply give an example. I apologize in advance for the tautology. As I said earlier, the character can carry 3 types of weapons with him, two of which one -handed and one two -handed. If during the battle you can calmly switch between two -handed weapons and the main one -handed one, then switching one -handed occurs strictly through the inventory. Critical? Not quite, but not convenient. But what is critical is that using the moose as a storage or working with a blacksmith, you cannot throw a one -handed weapon into the second layer. The game will constantly change your main weapon, which is why you have to carry out manipulations with the replacement of the main and secondary weapons or throw the necessary equipment to the ground, minimally weapons to throw a mount into the inventory or give a blacksmith and select equipment from the ground as a secondary. In addition, in the Mount itself you can throw only one type of one -handed and one type of two -handed weapon. I agree, it sounds too confusing, but please turn me to work with an inventory in the game is extremely not convenient.
